Job Description


Main Responsibilities


Act as Receptionist, answering telephones, meeting and greeting visitors including providing refreshments for meetings


Answering incoming calls efficiently, taking and relaying accurate messages


Carry out typing to company standards


Opening incoming post and distributing as necessary


Outgoing post


Monitoring company stationery and ordering as necessary


Provide admin support to the Directors, Project Managers, Estimators etc.


Produce Pre-Construction/Construction programmes in Asta Powerproject – training will be provided


Collating and chasing engineer’s timesheets and expenses


Social media updates, such as LinkedIn, directed and authorised by the management team


Supporting the accounts team as necessary, entering data onto Sage


General filing


Any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Office Manager within the job holder’s capabilities 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience


Experience from working in an office environment


Business administration qualifications or enrolment in existing training programme


GCSEs; level C or above in English Language and Mathematics

Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task


The ability to work alone, as well as part of a team


Mature, conscientious, self motivated and driven
