Secretary / PA / EA / Office Manager Needed– Property Investment Company - London W1

After a wonderful 5 years working together, my PA / Secretary is unfortunately relocating to the Middle East so we immediately require an urgent replacement looking for a long-term career.

The role is to support the Managing Director and two sales consultants at a boutique property investment and development consultancy firm based in Marylebone London W1.  The MD is exceptionally busy and you will be supporting him across all aspects of his life which can be chaotic at times, but never dull.  There is a 75:25 split between his business and personal life which includes diary and travel management, inbox management and correspondence (there is a lot of dictation so a fast typing speed of at least 80 wpm is essential) as well as dealing with property investment clients at the highest level.  The company does not deal with the general public and you will be speaking with UHNW high profile clients, so complete professionalism and discretion is an absolute must as well as being friendly, cheerful and well-presented. 

There is a fun, young atmosphere in the office where everybody sits together so we are really looking for a thick-skinned, team player as well as a very proactive self-starter with bags of common sense, fantastic organisational skills and excellent computer literacy who will get things done quickly and efficiently. As the sole support (‘mother-goose’) in this small office, you will be the lynchpin and your role is all encompassing.  Whilst the MD will take up approximately 60% of your time, there is additional support to the rest of the team, office management, bookkeeping, administration etc.  The skills required include;

·       Minimum touch typing / verbal dictation speed of 80wpm

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

·       Excellent communication and organisational skills

There is no limit as to what you will be involved with and as the company are looking to grow and expand, so the scope of the position will grow with it.  If you are looking for variety, this is it.

A background in property or marketing would be advantageous although not essential.  We are looking to pay up to £35K(ish) and the core hours are 9:30pm – 6:00pm.

This is an urgent requirement to allow for a significant handover so candidates who are available immediately need only respond.
