Oil & Gas Senior Recruitment Consultant

London, Manchester or relocated overseas (Houston, Orlando, Denver, Singapore)

My client is an award winning and market leading global Energy sector recruitment brand. They were established in 2010 and have grown with significant investment to over 400 members of staff across 12 international offices. They achieved £100m turnover in 2017 with £60m+ NFI and have continued growth plans of 40% Year on Year.

They are offering an excellent opportunity for a senior recruitment consultant to join and take advantage of live business from day 1 with access to high using "House" clients. You will have a first rate back office support function and many of the latest recruitment technologies at your disposal.

We have opportunities within the UK (London & Manchester) and also sponsored International relocation for proven performers to North America and Asia where you will be working with high calibre and professional personnel in all instances.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Further develop worldwide regions for all Oil & Gas recruitment activity outside of the Drilling Contractor market.
  • Maintain existing and develop new key client relationships across EMEA region.
  • Develop your specialist vertical market within choose Oil & Gas market. Ideally this will be Upstream, Subsurface, Drilling, Geosciences etc.
  • Represent the business brand effectively and professionally.

 

Qualities and experience

 

  • Minimum 2 years "360 recruitment" external/agency experience from Oil & Gas or closely related Energy or Engineering market.
  • Preference for someone who has worked with projects in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Stable career history.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Headhunting experience
  • Business Development skills
  • Natural sales ability
  • Self-starter who gets results with minimal support and direction in a fast-paced environment

Oil & Gas recruitment is back and it’s going to boom! Once again, it’s an exciting time for technically minded Oil & Gas recruiters to personally financially capitalise in the growth of this major Energy industry.

Recent reports and surveys of more than 10,000 Oil & Gas companies and employees show that 60% expect to increase staffing by approx. 10% in headcount within the next 12 months.
