Job Description

Heathrow Airport is the busiest hub airport in the world.  Merson Signs has been a key supplier to the airport for over two decades and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work with our airport team to assist with the project management delivery of signage projects into the airport.  This role is client facing as well as administrative.  Training will be given to the right candidates.

Are you an ambitious individual with an HND level qualification in a construction or technical discipline? Want to develop your career prospects with a company that rewards their employees’ achievements?
If so, this is an amazing opportunity to take on an exciting role with a progressive business.
Serving some of the UK’s most recognisable brands, our client is an expert designer, manufacturer and installer of signs. They are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team.
Fostering a friendly and transparent working culture, our client offers the chance to gain hands-on experience whilst working with internationally renowned retailers, contractors and financial institutions.
What’s more, you will receive fantastic training, as well as specialist support and guidance from senior staff to equip you with the tools you need to succeed in your role.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects that are on time, within budget and above all, exceed customer expectations.
From the start, you will immerse yourself in the company’s internal procedures and requirements, providing vital support to the Senior Project Manager with a multitude of projects.  You will monitor project progress, liaise with customers, provide quotations and ensure that margins are maximised in all areas of each project.
Interested? To be considered, you will need:
- An HND, ideally a degree, in a construction or technical discipline
- A high level of IT literacy, including MS Office
Proactive and confident, as an Assistant Project Manager, you must have a team player mentality with superb organisation and communication skills. Equally important is your drive to succeed and ability to forge strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
Previous experience in the signage, construction, retail or point of sale industry would be beneficial to your application.
