Job Description

Title:                   Accounts Administrator (35 hours per week - negotiable)

Reports to:         Team Manager

Main Functions:  Admin Assistance to Felixstowe Branch Operational Teams


Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier invoices for the Accounts team
  • Management of all invoice queries for the branch
  • Self-billing processes where applicable
  • Cargowise data amendments where applicable
  • Opening and distributing daily post
  • Management of local cheque banking and payments
  • Management of local petty cash
  • Order and replenishing stationery supplies for the office
  • Management of franking machine payments and processing
  • General filing
  • Support with movement of files to long-term storage


Required Skills:

  • Confident and outgoing telephone manner
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication at all levels
  • Organisational skills



  • 35 hours a week, Monday-Friday (negotiable)
