Winton Jobcentre Plus

By Train

The suburb of Winton does not have a railway station. If you are travelling by train, you will need to get off at Bournemouth station, just a couple of miles away, and then take a bus from here.

By Bus

Regular buses run into Winton, providing quick and easy links with Bournemouth town centre, the university and a number of surrounding towns and communities. Popular services include the 15 from Bournemouth University, the 32 from the town centre, Broadstone, Merely and West Howe, and the 13 from the town centre, Moordown, Northbourne, Parley Cross and Ferndown.

All buses stop on the main Wimborne Road and you should get off here, at the stop for the police station. Once you get off the bus, you will be able to see the Jobcentre Plus right next to the police station.

Travelling by Car

If you're driving, then the easiest way of getting to Winton is to take the busy A338 out of Bournemouth town centre and then follow the A347 past the cricket ground. After you pass the cricket ground you will be able to turn onto Wimborne Road, which you then need to follow into the centre of Winton. This will lead you onto the local street and you will soon spot the job centre right next to the police station.

Plenty of short-stay parking spots are available on Wimborne Road itself, as well as on the smaller streets running off this.
