Widnes Job centre

By Train

Widnes railway station is situated on the main line connecting Liverpool and Manchester, meaning there are regular services from both cities, as well as from Warrington and smaller surrounding suburbs.

If you arrive by train, you first need to exit the station and follow Victoria Avenue to the end. This will bring you onto Birchfield Road and you then need to carry on in the same direction for around 15 minutes. When you get to the town centre, you will come straight onto Kingsway. You will then see the local Jobcentre Plus on the right-hand-side of the street, just after you pass the Halton Borough Council buildings.

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into the centre of Widnes, providing good connections across Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Popular services include the 79C from Runcorn and Liverpool, the 17A from Liverpool and the 62 from Warrington.

All buses stop on Kingsway, in the town centre. This is where you need to get off, at the stop for the Town Hall. From here, head towards the small roundabout and you will see Kingsway House right next to the council buildings.

Travelling by Car

Kingsway House is situated right on the main B5419, which runs through the centre of Widnes. If you're driving, then, you need to take either the A533 or the A557 to Widnes and then follow the B5419 to the town centre. When you come to a small roundabout where the Widnes Library is located, turn onto Kingsway and you will find Kingsway House, as well as some short-stay parking spaces right next by the Town Hall.
