Wick Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Wick railway station is located on the Far North Line, providing good connections with locations across the Highlands, including to Inverness and Thurso.

If you're arriving by train you need to exit the station and follow Station Road to the right, until you come to Bridge Street. Go left here, crossing over the water and then, when you come to High Street, go right and walk along here for a short while. You then need to turn left up Shore Lane and carry straight on onto Girnigoe Street. From here, you will see the local Jobcentre Plus in Wick on your left almost straight away.

By Bus

Wick is served by regular buses providing good links with destinations across the Highlands. Popular services include the 175 and X97 from Inverness, the X99 from Gills Bay and Thurso, and the 82 and 182 from John O'Groats.

All buses stop on Wick High Street, which is where you need to get off. From here, with the river to your right, follow High Street along for a few minutes until you can turn left up Shore Lane. Follow this straight on and it will lead you onto Girnigoe Street.

Travelling by Car

By car, you need to follow the A99 into Wick. This will lead you straight into the town centre and onto High Street. Right by the junction of Bridge Road and George Street you will be able to turn onto High Street and then onto Shore Lane.

Plenty of short-stay parking can be found throughout Wick town centre, including lots of on-street parking places on and around Girnigoe Street itself.
