Whitehaven Job Centre Plus
If you're arriving into Whitehaven by train, then it's around a 15-minute walk from the station to The Copeland Centre.
After exiting the station, follow the approach road to the end, onto Bransty Row. Turn right and follow this along until you come to Duke Street, Go right here and left along Strand Street. When you reach a small roundabout, cross over and then turn right down Swingpump Lane. This will lead to Irish Street, so turn down here, then go right down Howgill Street and follow this onto Catherine Street. You will then see The Copeland Centre on your left almost straight away.
Plenty of buses run into Whitehaven, proving good links with places across Cumbria. Popular services include the 12 from Carlisle and Workington, the 31 from Thornhill, and the 300 from Maryport and Wigton.
If you're arriving by bus, then you should get off in the town centre, either on King Street or Queen Street. After getting off, you need to head away from the marina until you come onto Irish Street. From here, turn onto Hogwill Street and then follow this onto Catherine Street, where you will find The Copeland Centre.
Travelling by Car
Catherine Street is located just off the B5345, which runs through the centre of Whitehaven. By car, then, you need to take the A95 to Whitehaven and then take the A5094 into the town centre. From here you will be able to turn onto the B5345 Irish Street and then onto Catherine Street.
Short-stay parking places can be found by The Copeland Centre, in addition to the on-street parking available on Catherine Street.
