Stretford Job Centre
If you're travelling into Stretford by public transport, then the best way to get to the local Jobcentre Plus is by Metrolink tram. Simply get off at Stretford Metrolink station, go through the underground subway onto Chester Road and walk down the right-hand-side of the road for around 200m. You will see the green signs of the Stretford Jobcentre Plus just before you reach the main Stretford Arndale shopping centre.
The Jobcentre Plus in Stretford is also well-served by trains, though you will need to walk a little bit. The best way to take the train to the job centre is alight at Trafford Park station – which offers quick and easy links into Manchester city centre – turn left out of the station and walk down Moss Road until you reach the junction with Derbyshire Lane. Cross Derbyshire Lane, walk a few metres to the left and then take the first road on the right, Victoria Road.
Carry on down this road, passing a park on your right, until you reach Kingsway. Turn left down Kingsway and again take the first right, which is Chester Road. Stay on the right side of the road and after a couple of minutes you will reach your local Jobcentre Plus.
There is a bus stop almost right outside the job centre in Stretford and the main Stretford bus station is just five minutes away. Simply take any bus going to the Stretford Arndale Centre and alight at the stop. You will then see the job centre just a short distance away.
