Stamford Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Stamford railway station is served by regular trains from Leicester, Birmingham, Cambridge and Peterborough, as well as plenty of smaller places.

From the station, it's around a 10-minute walk to the Jobcentre Plus. To get there, exit the station and follow Gresley Drive for a few minutes until you come to the Town Meadows. Go left here and follow the path over the river until you come onto Castle Dyke. This will lead you to Castle Street, so go right here, then take a left up St John's Street. You will then see the local job centre almost straight away.

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into Stamford town centre, providing reliable links with Peterborough, as well as with smaller communities such as Oakham, Wansford, Uppingham and Bourne.

If you're travelling by bus, you should get off at Stamford Bus Station, on Sheep Street in the town centre. From here, exit onto Sheep Street and follow this straight ahead, onto Castle Street. You will then see St John's Street on your left, so turn down here to find the Jobcentre Plus.

Travelling by Car

The job centre in Stamford is situated right on the B1081, which runs through the centre of the town and links with the A43 and the A606. By car, then, follow either the A43 or the A606 to Stamford and then the B1081 into the town centre. This will lead you straight onto St John's Street.

Limited on-street parking can be found on the roads off St John's Street.
