Spennymoor Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Spennymoor does not have a railway station. If you need to take public transport to get to the local Jobcentre Plus in the town, therefore, you will need to travel by bus.

By Bus

Regular buses connect Spennymoor with surrounding towns and communities. Buses travelling into the town centre include the 6 and X21 from Durham and Bishop Auckland, the 8 and 8A from Darlington and Ferryhill, and the 35A from Chilton.

All buses stop on Cheapside in the town centre and this is where you should get off. From here walk onto King Street and you will then see Barnfield Road opposite you. Go down here and, after just a few moments, you will see the local job centre on the right-hand-side of the street.

Travelling by Car

By car, the easiest way of getting to the job centre is to follow the A688 to Spennymoor and, when you reach the junction with the B6288 Durham Road, take St Andrew's Lane into the town centre. Follow St Andrew's Lane for a few moments and you will then see Barnfield Road off to your right.

Short-stay parking is available right outside the Jobcentre Plus, though spaces may be limited.
