Richmond Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Richmond does not have a railway station. As such, if you are relying on public transport to get to the local Jobcentre Plus here, you will have to travel by bus.

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into Richmond, providing regular connections with Darlington, Catterick Garrison and York. Local bus services also provide connections to surrounding towns and villages including Leyburn, Northallerton and Barnard Castle.

If you are travelling by bus into Richmond, you should alight at Market Place, in the centre of the town. From here, get onto King Street and follow this up towards the museum. At the small roundabout go left and follow Victoria Road for a couple of minutes. You will then see the local Jobcentre Plus on the left-hand-side of the street.

Travelling by Car

The Jobcentre Plus in Richmond is situated right on the main A6108 which runs through the centre of the town and links with the busy A1 to Darlington, Durham, Ripon and Harrogate just to the east.

By car, then, you should take the A1 to Richmond and then follow the A6108 into the town centre. Then follow the signs to the museum. This will bring you to a small roundabout, where you will be able to get onto Victoria Road.

Short-stay parking is available across the town centre, and some on-street parking is available on Victoria Road itself.
