Ramsgate Jobcentre Plus
If you're arriving into Ramsgate by train then it's just under a 20-minute walk from the station to the local Jobcentre Plus.
From the station, exit onto Wilfred Road and follow this straight ahead for a few minutes. When you come to a main road, cross over and walk down Grange Road. After a few moments go left down Ellington Road and carry straight on for 10 minutes. You will then see Elms Avenue ahead of you, so head down here and this will lead you onto Queen Street. Once you reach Queen Street you will see Queen House straight away.
Regular bus services connect Ramsgate with destinations across Kent, including Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover and Margate.
If you are travelling in by bus, you should get off in Ramsgate town centre, at the stop for Queen's House, right on Queen Street. Bus numbers 9, 38, 42, 87, 88, 88A, 937 and 965 stop here, meaning you can alight and you will then see the Jobcentre Plus right in front of you.
Travelling by Car
By car, the best way of getting to Queen's House is to follow the B2054 into Ramsgate town centre. Once you reach the yacht marina, you need to turn right down one of the roads leading off the main B-road, and this will lead you onto Queen Street itself. With the water to your left, drive down the road until you see Queen's House on the right-hand-side of the street.
Short-stay parking can be found along the waterfront and there is also limited on-street parking available on Queen Street itself and the small roads just off it.
