Porth Jobcentre Plus
Porth railway station is served by regular trains from Cardiff, with services also offering quick and easy connections to many surrounding towns and villages, including Treherbert and Tylorstown.
From the station. It's a quick and easy walk to the local job centre. Simply leave the station and turn right down Syphon Street, following this onto North Road and carrying straight ahead for a couple of minutes. When you see a bridge over the railway tracks to your right, turn down here and carry straight on until you see Hannah Street on your right. Then simply turn down here and you will see the Jobcentre Plus on the right-hand-side of the street.
Regular buses run into Porth from surrounding destinations, including the X32 and 132 from Pontypridd and Cardiff and the 556 from Newquay.
All buses into Porth stop at the railway station and it's here where you need to get off. From here, you just need to follow the above directions and it's a 10-minute walk to the local Jobcentre Plus.
Travelling by Car
Hannah Street is just off the B4278, which runs through the centre of Porth and connects with the A4233 and the A4058. So, by car, you simply need to drive into the centre of Porth and, right by the river, you will be able to get onto the B4278 North Road. Follow the one-way system on a loop through the town centre and you will soon see Hannah Street off to the left of the main road.
Short-stay parking is available on the surrounding streets, and there are also limited spaces on Hannah Street itself.
