Matlock Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Matlock is connected to Derby and several smaller towns and villages along the Derwent Valley Line.

If you're arriving by train, you need to exit the railway station and turn left onto Snitterton Road. Turn left here and follow this road across the river. When you reach the small roundabout, go straight over, onto Bank Street and then right down Lime Walk Grove. After a few moments you will see The Phoenix Centre.

By Bus

Plenty of buses connect Matlock with towns and villages across Derbyshire as well as with Nottingham and Derby. These include the 138 from Belper, Heanor and Langley; the 140 from Alfreton, and the 215 from Bakewell.

If you are arriving by bus, you need to get off on Bank Road, at the stop for the town hall. From here, you will be able to see Lime Grove Walk, where you can find The Phoenix Centre.

Travelling by Car

By car, the job centre in Matlock is situated just off the main A6, as well as the A615 Bakewell Road.

The easiest way of getting to the job centre is to follow the A6 into Matlock town centre and then turn off over Matlock Bridge. This will bring you into the heart of the town and from here you will be able to turn off onto Lime Grove Walk.

You will be able to find short-stay parking places throughout Matlock town centre, including around the town hall, just moments from The Phoenix Centre.
