Irvine Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Irivine's railway station, which is on the main line between Stranraer and Glasgow, is located just to the west of the town centre, around 10 minutes by foot from the job centre.

If you're arriving by train, exit onto Harbour Road and turn left. Carry on until you reach a roundabout. Go right here, onto New Street, and then go left at the next roundabout. Carry this road round over the River Irvine, until you reach the main Burns Street. Turn right here and carry straight on. After a couple of minutes this will turn into High Street and you will then see the local job centre.

By Bus

Lots of buses run into Irvine from the surrounding areas. Regular services include the 21 from Dundonald and Kilmarnock; the 25 from Dalry the 14 from Ayr via Troon, and the X34 and X44 express buses from Glasgow city centre.

If you're arriving by bus, you should either get off on High Street or, depending on where your bus stops in the centre, at the railway station, from where you should follow the directions above.

Travelling by Car

The job centre in Irvine is located right on the A736, which runs through the centre of the town. This connects with the A736 and the A78.

So, by car, simply get onto the A736 and follow this main road into the town centre until it turns into High Street. Here you will find the local Jobcentre Plus, as well as plenty of short-stay parking spots.
