Ilkeston Jobcentre Plus

 

By Train

Ilkeston does not have a railway station; the nearest station is at Langley Mill, a few miles away. As such, if you're relying on public transport to get to the local job centre, you will need to travel by bus.

 

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into Ilkeston from the surrounding towns and villages. Regular services include the 21 from Nottingham, the 59 from Derby and the Y3 from Derby via Kirk Hallam and Spondon.

If you're travelling by bus, you should get off on Derby Road in the town centre. From here, you will be able to see South Street right opposite the Three Horseshoes pub. Turn down here and you will see the Jobcentre Plus in Ilkeston almost right away.

 

Travelling by Car

South Street is situated just off the main A609 Derby Road, as well as just off the A6007, which connects Ilkeston with Shipley, Heanor and the M1 motorway.

So, follow one of these main roads into the town centre. This will bring you to a large roundabout. From here you can turn off onto South Street, which again is located just opposite the Three Horseshoes pub.
