Heanor does not have a railway station. However, the station at Langley Mill is just two miles away. This offers connections into Sheffield, Nottingham and several smaller towns and villages, with regular buses running from the station into the centre of Heanor.
Buses connect Heanor with Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham in addition to many smaller towns and villages. Regular services include the H1 from Derby and Alfreton, the Y1 from Derby via Smalley, and the 20 from Nottingham, Beeston and Ilkeston.
If you're travelling by bus, you should et off on Market Street and then follow this onto High Street. After a few moments, you will see the Howitt Buildings on the right, slightly set back from the main road.
Travelling by Car
The Howitt Buildings are located right on the main A6007, which runs into the centre of Heanor and connects with the A610 from Nottingham. Additionally, the job centre is also situated at the end of the A608 from Derby.
So, if you're travelling by car, follow one of these main roads into the centre of Heanor and, when you reach the junction of High Street and Market Street, you will be able to see the Howitt Buildings. There is some short-stay parking right outside.
