Halifax Crossfield House Jobcentre Plus

By Train

From the railway station, the Jobcentre Plus on Horton Street is around a 15-minute walk away. To get there, you need to exit the station and then turn right down Square Road. Carry straight on, passing Halifax Minster on your right, and then follow the road round to the left.

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into Halifax town centre, offering connections to much of the West Yorkshire.

If you're travelling by bus, you should get off at the main Halifax Bus Station, which is located just off Northgate. From here, you just need to exit onto Northgate itself and head left. This will bring you onto Broad Street. Carry on for a few moments and then turn down St James Road to your right.

Travelling by Car

St James Street is situated just off both the A58 and the A629, and is moments from where these two main roads into Halifax intersect. So, if you're travelling by car, follow one of these A-roads into the town centre and, when you come to the busy Burdock Way roundabout, take the exit for Orange Street. From here you will see Great Albion Street almost right away. Go down here and this will lead you onto St James Road.

Lots of short-stay parking spaces are available at the Westgate Arcade Shopping Centre, around a 5-minute walk away.
