Getting to Ely Job Centre
Ely Jobcentre is a 15-to-20-minute walk from the town's railway station, though buses and taxis are available in you are in a hurry.
From the station, exit onto Station Road and turn right, crossing directly over a roundabout and continuing until you see Broad Street on your right.
Continue down Broad Street for around 500 metres until you reach a junction with Fore Hill.
Take a left here, then the first right and then the first left, onto Market Place.
Walking on the right of the road, Market Place will quickly turn into Market Street and, just before you reach a pair of pubs on opposite sides of the street, you will see the Ely job centre.
Central Ely is well-served by a number of buses, most of which stop at the Cathedral, just a couple of minutes from the Jobcentre Plus.
From the Cathedral, simply head onto the High Street and pass through Chequer Lane onto Market Street, where you will see your local job centre almost right in front of you.
Travelling By Car
The main B1382, which runs into the centre of Ely from the east of the city, passes just moments from the Job Centre.
However, parking spaces are extremely limited in the historic centre of the city, so if you are coming by car, you may need to make use of one of the numerous short and long-term car parks situated just outside of the centre.
Check out the official Ely Council website for more information on parking in and around the city: http://visitely.eastcambs.gov.uk/tic/plan-your-journey
