Dudley Jobcentre Plus

You can get a national insurance number, speak to an advisor about your benefit claim and jobseekers can get help finding work.

By Train

Dudley does not have its own railway station. There are stations in neighbouring Tipton and Dudley Port. However, these are around two miles away, so if you are travelling by train, you will need to get off here and then take a bus into Dudley town centre.

By Bus

Dudley enjoys excellent bus connections to surrounding towns, cities and communities, among them Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Smethwick and Stourbridge.

If you're travelling in by bus, you should get off at the main Dudley Bus Station on Fisher Street, where all buses into the town stop. From here, walk down Fisher Street onto Castle Street and beat left, passing the Churchill Shopping Centre on your left. This will soon bring you to Southampton Street. Turn right down there and, just before you reach a large church, you will see the job centre in Dudley on the right.

Travelling by Car

The Dudley Jobcentre Plus is just a few moments away from the main A461, which runs through the centre of the town. As such, if you're travelling by car, follow this into the town centre and then follow the signs for the Churchill Shopping Centre. The one-way system in the town centre will bring you onto Wolverhampton Street, where you'll be able to see Alexander House.

There are plenty of short-stay parking places available in the Churchill Shopping Centre, just a short walk away.
