Doncaster Jobcentre

Jobseekers looking for advice on the latest back to work schemes are advised to make an appointment to hear the full range of options available, this may include further education or training schemes.

Benefit claimants are advised to keep their appointments or they may lose some, part or all of their benefits - should your circumstances change you are legally required to inform the DWP/DSS straight away.

By Train

If you're travelling into Doncaster by train, then it's just an easy 10-minute walk to the local job centre.

To get there, leave the station and follow the approach road down to the main road. Cross over and carry on straight down Printing Office Street until you reach a small roundabout. Bear left here onto Cleveland Street and then right onto Wood Street where you will find the job centre in Doncaster.

By Bus

If you're travelling into Doncaster town centre by bus, then you should get off on High Street. From here, go against the one-way traffic until you see Cleveland Street on your left. Turn down here and then the first road on your left will be Wood Street.

Alternatively, alight at the train station and follow the above directions to your destination.

Travelling by Car

By car, the easiest way of getting to the Jobcentre Plus in Darlington is to follow the main A630 into the town centre. This connects with the A19 and the A638, providing excellent links with the surrounding towns and villages.

So, get onto the A630 and follow this to the train station. From the train station, follow the one-way system onto St Sepulchre Gate and then onto High Street, After a few moments, turn left onto Cleveland Street and then left again onto Wood Street.

Plenty of short-stay parking is available at the Frenchgate Shopping Centre, right by the train station.
