Dereham Jobcentre Plus

Back to work schemes are available and our staff are friendly and will assist you with any claims you make. Please make an appointment, unless you simply want to browse the job postings vacancies board.

By Train

Dereham does not have a railway station so it cannot be reached by train. As such, if you rely on public transport, you should take the bus.

By Bus

Regular buses run into Dereham from Norwich as well as from a number of smaller towns and villages. These include the 4 from Swanton Moreley, the 8 from Norwich city centre, the 11 from Watton, the 17 from West Bradenham and the 20 from Wending.

All buses into Dereham stop at the Market Place on High Street, from where the job centre in Dereham is just a short walk away. So, alight at the Market Place and, with the church to your left, walk down High Street for a couple of minutes. You will then see the job centre on the right-hand-side of the street.

Travelling by Car

If you're travelling by car, then you should take the main A47 towards Dereham and then take either the B1146 or the A1075 into the town centre. Then follow the signs into the historic centre and this will lead you straight onto High Street.

Limited short-stay parking is available around the Dereham Library and there is also some on-street parking on the small streets going off the High Street,
