Colchester Jobcentre

By Train

Colchester is located on the Great Eastern Main Line, meaning you can take a direct train here from places such as Walton-on-the-Naze, Clacton, Maningtree, Marks Tey and London Liverpool Street.

If you're a jobseeker arriving by train and heading to the job centre in Colchester then you will need to exit the station and turn right down Britannia Way. Almost straight away you will come to a roundabout where you need to go right up Queen Street. Carry straight on for around 5 minutes until you come to the junction with High Street. Go left here and then, after just a couple of minutes you will see West Stockwell Street to your right. Turn up here and you will see the local offices almost right away.

By Bus

Colchester job centre is also easy to reach if you're travelling into the town by bus, with many services stopping just yards away. For example, the 61 and 62 from Wivenhoe, the 77 from Aingers Green, the 67A from West Mersea and the 78 from Brightlingsea all stop on High Street. From here you will be able to see West Stockwell Street, where it is located.

Travelling by Car

The job centre can be easily reached by car, being just a few metres from both the A134 and the A133. If you're heading into town on the A133, follow the signs for the station and then, soon after you cross the river, you will see High Street on your left. Alternatively, if you're heading in on the A134, take the main road into the town centre and, at the junction with the B1026, head right up Head Street.
