Chorley Jobcentre Plus Directions
Chorley train station provides regular links to Manchester, Preston and Bolton, as well as to many smaller communities, many of which are served by the towns' Jobcentre Plus. If you're arriving into Chorley by train then the local job centre is just a 10-minute walk from the station.
To get there, exit the station and bear left along Shepherd's Way. When you reach a small roundabout, go right along George Street and carry on until you reach another roundabout. Go straight across here and then take a right turn almost immediately. This will take you onto Gilbrand Walks. Head down here and take the second on the right. This is Hamilton Road, where you will find the job centre in Chorley.
Plenty of buses run into Chorley town centre, providing regular links with Bolton, Blackburn, Preston, Manchester and many smaller places.
If you're heading to the job centre, get off the bus at Chorley Interchange. This is the main bus station and is located right next to the train station. So, alight here, follow the above directions and you will be at the local job centre in just 10 minutes.
Travelling by Car
The job centre in Chorley is situated just off the B5251. This road can be reached from the main A6 – simply follow the signs to the train station and then turn off onto George Street at the main roundabout. The main A581 also runs close to the job centre and again, if you're driving in from the west of Chorley, you should follow this into the town centre, follow the signs for the train station and then exit the roundabout onto George Street.
