Canterbury Jobcentre Plus

By Train

Canterbury has two main train stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. If you're travelling to the local job centre in the city, then you should get off at Canterbury West, from where it's just a 15-minute walk.

To get there, simply exit the station and then follow the approach road down onto North Lane. Bear left, with the water on your left, and then bear right across the water on The Causeway. Follow this down on Pound Lane, bear left and carry straight on until you come to Northgate.

Turn left on Northgate and, after a couple of minutes, you will see the local job centre on the right, almost directly opposite the Penny Theatre.

By Bus

Plenty of buses run into Canterbury city centre and stop close to the job centre. Many of these stop outside the Canterbury West train station or on Northgate itself, meaning the job centre is just a short walk away.

Travelling by Car

The job centre in Canterbury is located just off the main A28, which runs into the town centre, connecting it with nearby Sturry and the A257 and A2 roads just to the south. Follow the A28 into the city centre and head to the roundabout where Sturry Road begins. From here, you just need to follow the one-way system, which will take you onto Northgate.
