Cannock Jobcentre Directions

By Train

Cannock enjoys excellent rail connections across the Midlands, with regular trains running to places such as Hednesford, Landywood and Birmingham city centre.

If you're arriving by train, then the local job centre is just a short walk from the station. To get there, exit the station and follow the approach road down to the end until you reach Mill Street. Follow Mill Street for 5 minutes until you reach a main road. Go right down Ringway and then, when you get to the roundabout, bear left. After a few seconds, you will see Allport Road on your right. Go down here and then take the first left, Beecroft Road, which will lead you to Government Buildings, where the job centre is located.

By Bus

A number of buses stop either right by the Cannock job centre or just a few minutes' walk away. The 33 from Norton Canes and Walsall stops on Ringway, just by Allport Road, as does the X31, which goes to Birmingham and Walsall via Cheslyn Hay and Short Heath.

Travelling by Car

The job centre in Cannock is located just off the main A34, which connects Cannock with Stafford to the north and the M6 motorway just to the south. So, if you're arriving by car, the best way of getting there is to follow the A34 into the town centre and, when you reach the roundabout where the road intersects with the B5012, look out for turning for Allport Road.

Parking is available at the Jobcentre offices car park, though spaces may be limited during the week.
