Jobcentre Plus Cambridge
By Train
Cambridge has just one railway station, with trains providing connections to Ely, King's Lynn, Stevenage, Ipswich and into London and Norwich.
The job centre is located on the other side of the city to the station and to walk it would take around 40 minutes. However, the Citi 4, the Citi 3 and the 99 buses all leave the station and go through the city, stopping on Emmanuel Street, Alight here and walk across Jesus Green, cross the river and then turn right when you come onto Chesterton Road. The job centre will be there, just to your right.
By Bus
Again, several city buses stop just a short walk from the job centre in Cambridge, including those running from the train station.
Additionally, the job centre is also within easy walking distance of Bridge Street, where most buses into the city stop. Simply alight here and then follow Portugal Street onto Jesus Green, cross the river and you will see it right there in front of you.
Travelling by Car
Chesterton Lane, where it is located, connects with the A1134 in the heart of the city, so follow this into the centre if you're arriving by car. The A1303 and the A1307 also run into the city centre from the surrounding areas, with the best way to reach the local job centre using these roads is to follow them to the river and then find Chesterton Lane that way.
Note that there is only very limited parking close to the job centre, so leave plenty of time for finding a free space or for walking into the city from outside of the centre.
