Getting to Bellshill Jobcentre Plus
Bellshill is situated on the Cleland and Midcalder railway line, with regular trains connecting the town to neighbouring Uddingston, Holytown and Motherwell, as well as to Glasgow and Hamilton.
If you're arriving by train, then the local job centre is just a short stroll from the station. Simply exit the station, proceed to the end of the approach road and turn right down Hamilton Road, continuing straight on as it turns into North Road.
After a couple of minutes you will reach a small roundabout. Go right here, onto Campbell Street. Follow this road along until you reach another roundabout. Cross straight over, onto Main Street and, almost right away you will see your local Jobcentre Plus building on your left.
The job centre in Bellshill is easy to reach if you rely on public transport to get around, with several buses running into the town centre from Motherwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge, as well as from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The 201 bus, which links Bellshill with Hamilton, East Kilbride, Airdrie and Coatbridge, stops on Main Street in the town centre, almost right outside the job centre on Main Street. Additionally, the 299, which runs a circular route between Strathclyde Business Park and Bellshill, also stops right on Main Street.
Travelling by Car
The Bellshill job centre is located right on the main A775, which runs through the town centre. You can connect to this road along the A721 Motherwell Road and the A725, which connects to the M74 running to Hamilton, Motherwell and Glasgow.
Parking is available throughout the town centre, with the Safeways car park on John Street offering the most places and just a short walk from Main Street.
