Getting to Batley Job Centre
By Train
If you're travelling to Batley job centre by train, then you only have to walk a few minutes to get there from the town's train station.
Upon leaving the station, head right down Station Road, crossing over a small junction and carrying on along Hick Lane. After less than 300m, this forks into three. Carry straight down the middle, onto Wellington Street and, after a minute or two toy will see the job centre at Batley.
By Bus
Similarly, if you're travelling into Batley by bus, then it's just a short walk to your local job centre from the town's main bus station.
All you need to do is leave the bus station through the main exit and follow St James Street to the junction and then taking a left down Branch Road. At the doctor's surgery, turn left down Commercial Street, passing the town hall on your right and you will soon see Cross Street on your right. Go down here, onto Wellington Street, turn right and you will see your local Jobcentre Plus sign on the building almost straight away.
Travelling by Car
The Batley job centre is located just off the A652, which runs right through the town, connecting it to Birstall, Mount Pleasant and Dewsbury. Also running into Batley town centre and offering easy connections to the job centre are the B1623 and the B6124: simply follow these onto Commercial Street or Winchester Road itself and then the job centre is easy to find.
Free, short-stay parking is available in Batley, with most spaces up at Wilton Park, just to the north of the centre and a 10-minute walk to the job centre.
