Travel to Basildon Jobcentre
Basildon railway station offers direct services to London and Southend, as well as to several smaller places covered by the local job centre such as Pitsea and Laindon.
If you're travelling into the town by train, then the job centre is just a 15 minute walk from the station. To get there, exit the station and follow the road left down to the busy Roundacre road. Go left here until you get a roundabout, where you need to follow Roundacre up and to the right. Go right again at the next roundabout onto Broadmayne and cross over. Carry on walking right and after a few minutes you will come to a street called The Gore on your left. Take this and, after around 100m you will see the Jobcentre office in Basildon.
Regular buses connect Basildon town centre and its local job centre with nearby towns and villages including Billericay and Wickford. Buses stopping on Broadmayne, right by the job centre, include the 405, which runs to Laindon, Billericay, Wickford and Shotgate, and the 26, which runs to Canvey, Haystack and Leigh.
Travelling by Car
The job centre in Basildon is located just off the main A1321. This connects the town with the A13 running to the east and south and the A127 going to Rainham and Upminster to the west. So, if you're heading to the job centre, follow the signs onto the A1321 and then follow the road round until it turns into Broadmayne and you see the turn off The Gore.
