Getting to the Job Centre at Atherstone
Atherstone Jobcentre is easily reached by public transport, with the town's train station just a short walk away.
From the station, exit onto Long Street and turn right. Carry on walking and, when it is safe to do so, cross the road so you are walking on the left-hand-side of the road. After a couple of minutes, you will pass Ratcliffe Road on your left and you will then see your local Job Centre a few second later.
Similarly, the job centre is well-served by local bus services. Most services stop either on North Street, which runs parallel to Long Street – so simply head one block east and look out for the Job Centre – or on Long Street itself, where your local job centre is located at number 20. If you do get off on Long Street, then the stop you want is the one named after the Black Horse pub.
Travelling by Car
If you're travelling into Atherstone by car, then the A5, which connects Tamworth in the west and Nuneaton in the east, passes right by the local job centre. Simply follow the signs to the town centre and get onto Long Street, which is the B4116.
While you may have difficulty finding a free parking spot on Long Street itself, Atherstone town centre does have several short-stay car parks, with parking free for up to two hours.
