Getting to the Job Centre at Abergavenny
If you arriving into Abergavenny by train, then the local Job Centre is just a 20-minute walk away. From the station exit, take a left down Station Road, with the Black Sheep Backpackers' Hostel to your right. Proceed to the end of Station Road and then take a right down the busy main road. Follow this main road for around 10 minutes, passing the Tourist Information office on your right, until you reach a crossroads with the Angel pub on one corner.
From here, take a right down Lower Castle Street and then take the first right up Castle Street. Follow this road up, passing the King's Arms pub on the right and, after it turns into Tudor Street, you will see the Abergavenny Job Centre, also on the right.
All buses into Abergavenny stop at the main bus station, which is a short stroll from the town's job centre. After getting off your bus, find the main road with the Tourist Information office on it. Then, take a right and follow the road up until the crossroads where the Angel pub is located. You need to then follow the same directions as above to get to the Jobcentre in Abergavenny.
Travelling by Car
If you plan on travelling to the Job Centre in Abergavenny by car, then you should either take the A40 into town if you're coming in from the north or the south, or the A465 if you're coming in from the west. Both these main roads lead right into the heart of the town, as does the A402, which offers quick and easy links to Pontypool to the south.
There is a small pay-and-display car park right by the Jobcentre building, though there is no on-street parking nearby.
